Our Vision

Gospel Light C.O.G.I.C. is a beacon of hope to those that are lost and those seeking a place to worship and fellowship with others in our community. A place that will serve people of all ages offering programs and resources that are family-focused and community-minded. We will expand our outreach by engaging in community development maximizing every opportunity to equip the body and evangelize the community so that our town is transformed and our world impacted for Gods glory.

Some of our powerful ministries will include programs for Senior Citizens so they can learn about wellness, nutrition and finances. We will also provide ministries to visit the sick and shut-in, and reaching out to those who cannot freely attend church or hear teaching of the Word of God, to meet the holistic needs of the people spiritually, financially, physically, and emotionally.

Our mission is to provide youth (pre-K through high school) with educational experiences that will enhance their academic performance, prepare them for college and career. The role parents play in this process is very important, our mission also includes equipping parents with information, tools and partnering with community-based resources to enhance the health and resiliency of our families.

Gospel Light will also provide our youth with programs that will help them grow within community and discover how they can do something to impact their church, schools and the world with their unique gifts and talents. They will have opportunities to learn about life skills, self-esteem, etiquette, job preparation and community involvement through our mentoring and tutoring programs. Our goal is to encourage, enlighten and empower young men and women toward leadership and achieving spiritual and professional greatness. To inspire them to love God and to love and respect themselves and others.

Our Outreach ministries includes providing food, clothing and other items to veterans and the homeless. We understand that the battle isn’t over just because active duty ends. We will help veterans and their spouses to find healing, community and a renewed purpose. We desire to see healthy marriages, joy-filled homes, and safe neighborhoods.
